· Place the Wheel carefully face down onto

  your cloth.

· Remove the two shifter paddles by

  unscrewing their M4 retained screw

(using a T10 Torx Key Wrench).

Repeat for any additional paddles you may

  have on the wheel.

· Be very careful to avoid the Torx Wrench

attaching itself to the paddle shifter magnet

as they can easily scratch the magnet's

  surface.

Removing Your Grips (part 2)

Removing Your Grips (part 1)

Removing Your Grips (part 3)

· Remove the eight M4 x 10mm Counter Sunk

Screws and remove the two grips from the

of the rubber grip. Go right through to the

· Flip the grip on it's inner side and using a

sharp knife, cut along the visible seam

  between the two metal legs.

· The inside of the rubber will still be attached

in one or two places (where the rubber

passes through holes in the metal spine).

Carefully cut through these rubber nodules

to release the rubber grip from their spine.

· Repeat parts 3 to 5 for the other grip.

Fitting Your New 3D Printed Pineapple Grips: LMP or Regular Grips?

 · If you are fitting our LMP Grips, please jump

to Part 1. If you are fitting our Regular (open

bottom) Grips please go to Part X.

Fitting Your New 3D Printed Pineapple Grips (part 1)

 · Re-attach the the two grip metal spines with

the eight M4 x 10mm Counter Sunk Screws,

using the T20 Torx Key Wrench.

Fitting Your New 3D Printed Pineapple Grips (part 2)

· Flip the wheel over as shown.

· Attach the rear half of your new grip to

the underside of the metal spine. You

should be able to push the ends onto the

metal so that it remains in place.

Fitting Your New 3D Printed Pineapple Grips (Part 3)

·  IMPORTANT! Fit each pair of metal pins

provided into the rear grip mounting holes

AFTER the rear grips have been assembled

to your wheel and just BEFORE attaching

the front grip halves. To install two of the

metal pins to each rear grip, just push into

their mounting holes as far as you can, but

don't force them. 4mm or so of the metal

pins will protrude from its mount, this is

fine. The metal pins act as a guide for

assembling the top half of the grips and

adds strength to the grips once screwed

   together.

Fitting Your New 3D Printed Pineapple Grips (Part 4)

Fitting Your New 3D Printed Pineapple Grips (Part 4)

 · Repeat part 3 and 4 for the other grip

· Carefully Flip the wheel onto its front again.

· Screw the two halves together for each grip

  using the supplied screws, No.2 (2.2mm x

13mm long) Self Tapping Posi Pan

  Head Screws.

· Use ONLY the screws supplied.

  DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS!

Tighten each screw until you see the two grip

halves come together and you feel an obvious

"stop" feeling resistance. If you overtighten

there is a risk of stripping the holes where the

  self-tapping screws go into.

· IMPORTANT! When screwing the new grips

together make sure the rear grips are seated

into position properly. If they are not and you

try to screw the top half on it can damage or

  pull out thread inserts.
