ALWAYS TAKE YOUR TIME WHEN CARRYING OUT THE FOLLOWING. IF IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT THE PROCEDURE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT US.
· Torx Wrench Keys : T10 (3mm) and T15
(4mm). If you do not have these you can
purchase these from our shop for £7
(£5 if ordered with the colour kit).
· Cloth or soft area (to protect and rest your
steering wheel on).
· Asetek's Plastic tweezers that were supplied
with your wheel (thank you Asetek!). Do not
use metal tweezers as there is a risk of
damaging your colour kit parts or wheel
· Small container to keep all your removed
screws etc safe.
· Colour Kit parts (including some spares)
· Time to transform the accents on your
wheel to another colour.
· Place the Wheel carefully face down onto
your soft surface (or cloth).
· Remove the paddle by unscrewing the
retained M3 screw using a T10 (3mm) Torx
Wrench Key.
· IMPORTANT! Try to keep the Torx Wrench
Key away from the paddle magnet (as it
easily scratches the magnet surface)
· If using your own Torx Wrench Key, make sure
the fit is good as these screws may be
tight the first time of loosening. A poor fitting
Torx Wrench Key can result in you rounding
the hole on the top of the screw head.
· Repeat for the other paddle.
· Remove the four M4 x 10mm long
Countersunk Head Torx Screws from the grip
using a T15 (4mm) Torx Wrench Key.
· If using your own Torx Wrench Key, make sure
the fit is good as these screws may be
tight the first time of loosening. A poor fitting
Torx Wrench Key can result in you rounding
the hole on the top of the screw head.
· Repeat for other grip.
· The part is silicone rubber and very flexible.
· Feed this carefully off the metal section of your
grip.

· Repeat steps 3 to 4 for the other grip.
· Push the part in between the rubber
and the metal bracket as shown.
· IMPORTANT! Make sure the part is orientated
so that the radius edge is on the metal bracket
side.
· Make sure the part is centrally positioned as
shown.
· IMPORTANT! Make sure the Large U-shaped
part is orientated so that the sloped part is on
the same side as the radius shape of the
block part. If the u-shaped part is the wrong
way up, the part will not engage properly
(as the pips are not centrally positioned)
· Place your finger behind the block part as
shown and with the U-shaped part, slide this
onto the sides. The two pips either side of the
U-shaped part will engage into the side holes
of the block part.
· Push the u-shaped part until flush.
· Make sure the u-shaped part is fully
engaged on both sides. It should look like
the photo.
· Repeat steps 5 to 9 for the other grip.
· Orientate the small u-shaped part as shown
and snap this part over the metal bracket (on
the grips middle section). Note: The part is
symmetrical.
· It should look like this if snapped on the
correct way round in relation to the metal
bracket.
· IMPORTANT! Make sure the small rectangular
part is orientated as shown on the photo.
· Place your finger behind the small u-shaped
part as shown and with the small rectangular
part, slide this into one side of the the gap and
snap into place.
· Repeat steps 10 to 12 for the other grip.
· Position the grip as shown.
· Re-screw the four M4 x 10mm long
Countersunk Head Torx Screws into the grip
using a T15 (4mm) Torx Wrench Key.
· Repeat for the other grip.
· Re-fit the paddle using a T10 (3mm) Torx
Wrench Key as shown.
· Repeat for other paddle.
· Using your Asetek plastic tweezers, apply one
of the black 11mm dia. protection stickers.
· Repeat for the other paddle.
· Using your Asetek plastic tweezers, remove
the backings from the four button caps'
adhesive pads.
· Attach each of the four button caps over the
orange buttons on the wheel as shown.
Press home firm for the high tack adhesive to
"key" onto the button.
· Using your Asetek plastic tweezers, apply the
black sticker to cover the orange brushed
aluminium face (as shown). This may take a
few attempts to align correctly so be patient.
· Repeat for the other side of the Quick Release
with a second sticker.
Congratulations! Your installation and wheel transformation is now complete.
If you need to remove the Large or Small Coloured Infill assemblies again, please use the Asetek plastic tweezers carefully to do so.
